Half Term Fun in The Hamble Valley!

Whether it's a Beauty and the Beast Production, Victorian School Lessons or using Puppetry, Hamble Valley has it all this February Half Term!

 

Join in on all the fun at Manor Farm Country Park for a week of activities down on the farm, including farmhouse arts and crafts with a feathered theme, Victorian school lessons, guided farmyard walk and Meet the Animals. You can also join a Countryside Ranger on a short walk to look for birds around the Park.

 

The Berry Theatre, in Hedge End are showing Puss In Boots on the 13th February, an animated adventure where ‘Puss In Boots’ takes us to a time long before the feisty feline first appeared in the Shrek universe – a great way to start the week off! If that wasn’t enough, The Berry Theatre is also showing The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on the 13th of February about a girl called Harriet Vanger who disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found.

 

Take part in a trail at Itchen Valley Country Park between the 11th and the 19th of February, find the answers and win a prize!

 

Watch a magical family production, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast between the 13th and 18th of February at The Point Theatre in Eastleigh, featuring UK Productions’ national touring set and costumes.

 

Get your imagination going with puppetry, shadows and songs to create a spectacular and hilarious expose of the truth behind the most classic fairy tales at Royal Victoria Country Park on the 13th of February.

 

On the 12th of February, The Concorde Club are bringing you the Millennium Eagle Jazz Band who have emerged as a direct result of the demise of the very popular Eagle Jazz band in 2005. The Concorde Club are also throwing an All Star Jazz Charity Night on the 15th of February for the condition Neurofibromatosis that sadly everyday a baby is born with in the UK, it will be a superb evening of jazz raising money for this much needed charity.

 

Bursledon Windmill are having family drop-in activities from 11am to 3pm. The wheat for the mill is growing; the trees are in bud, the birds are thinking about nesting. Join them in the barn to meet the animals (stuffed ones) that show us that spring has sprung.
