Botley

Botley

Described as 'the most delightful village in the world, it has everything in a village I love and none of the things that I hate' by William Cobbett, a 18th century radical jounalist. Botley retains this charm today with the market square and specialist shopping on the High Street and at Botley Mills.

Walk the self guided Cobbett Trail and discover the village's history, not forgetting to stop for refreshments at one of the many eateries offered in the village. Join in with the community spirit and fun at the Botley Summer Festival (Sunday 18th June).

The delightful working Victorian Manor Farm close by takes you back in time and provides and enjoyable day out for all the family.
